Diary by Bread
Our Philosophy teacher, Sir Lot Tabilid, introduced us to this song. Actually, to the band Bread. It was during the time we discussed about the Philosophy of Love.

Date a Girl Who Reads
Date a girl who reads. Date that someone who has a collection of books rather than a collection of designer clothes. She wants to go on an unlimited adventure by reading another creative fictitious novel or another romantic tear-jerker from Nicholas Sparks.
i never felt as helpless as i did when i was nine and you were ten
and you picked him over me and i saw you hold his hand and whisper
something that i didn’t hear but wished i did and then you hid
with him behind the old oak tree and i pretended not to care
which was silly because i cared a lot, and i thought about how
your hand would feel warm inside mine and i thought about the time
i sat close to you and i was scared, i could smell your hair
and it smelled like flowers and i wanted to scream out how you made me
dizzy inside my stomach and my head but i didn’t and instead i scribbledi have a secret foryou
with my finger into the sand of the sandbox but i knew you’d never see it
because it started to rain, which i thought was odd since it was still sunny
but it did, and my nose and eyes were all runny, and my face was all wet.
Such a wonderful poem. :)

Song of the Day:
I can’t find an official music video for this song, but this performance from their US Concert Tour will do. They gave justice to the song, nevertheless. I hope you like it. :)

I’m no fashion blogger, but I am a fan of fashion blogs and I do love clothes as much as everyone else, hence my Lookbook.nu account. If you follow my blog, the previous entries have been purely personal and some food-related posts in between.
So, I will try, TRY being the operative word, to show the other side of me, the fashion enthusiast side of me. To begin with, this will be my very first outfit post.
The past few days, the heat is intense! Effects of global warming, I know. I honestly thought of having bald head for a change. But nah, I can’t do it as I will be going to school again in six weeks time. Still, I wanted to have a new look. Thus, I opted for a short hair. I still can’t afford a pixie cut. I must save a sack of courage for that. :P
And then a bright idea popped while my friends and I were talking about dyes yesterday - ombre. Its the fad nowadays! From darker roots to lighter tips. Although many would still think you have an awful hair tips. LOL!

Anyway, I braved myself for that change. I always wanted to have my hair dyed but I always chicken out. I wanted to have my hair ombre-ed, but I didn’t find the courage to do it. And so, finally, the heavens showered me bravery today and I said yes to changing my hair color.
