My neighbors and I have a yearly outing, to the beach, pool or wherever. This year, as we were all busy with our separate lives, going out of town is not feasible. So, we decided to lay low for this year and instead of going out, had a barbecue house party.

Two days before Christmas, my high school barkada and I had a mini reunion of sorts because it had been a while since we went out to have fun, and complete, at that! ;)
Here’s what we were up to that day:

We met up in Ayala that morning.

Ate lunch at Jollibee near Kart Zone. During that time, there was a children’s party and since Marion is afraid of mascots, we helped her overcome her fears. :P

Me with Hetty! :)

After sweating out, we headed to SM City Cebu, strolled around and chilled.

‘Til the next adventure, you guys! xoxo :)

Yesterday, we, Tombs Society, had our Christmas Party. We spent our dinner and our TombSoc gift exchange at Bubble Bee Tea House, and the after-party at Alchology. We had so much fun and created so much noise, that the waiter at Bubble Bee advised us to tone down our voices a bit. Haha

I love my girls. I’m so glad to have them as my college barkada.
Smelled like a smoker but showered with Joy. Tired but Ecstatic. Feet swollen but still ready to dance the night away. Broke but rich with True Friends. Thank you so much TombSoc, I had a blast! This is one of the best nights of my life. I’m really thankful and grateful to have you as my college barkada. Cheers for more years of friendship. :) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I LOVE YOU ALL!!! xoxo ♥, Anina
I love you, Tombs Society. Thank you for always giving me a daily dose of laughter and fun. You should know that another reason why I go to school everyday is because of you. I love to see you, hang out, spend time, and have fun with you. You just don’t know how much joy and cheer you all give me. You are hilarious, funny, humorous friends. It’s not that we have the same feather, that’s why we flock together. We’re all different, unique, and special, but we flow and fit perfectly together. In TombSoc, with diversity, comes unity. Lots of love! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)

Scenario:
Someone asked, “Do you have a guy best friend?”. With no doubts and with no sign of hesitation, I answered, “I HAD one.”
“had”, meaning, I used to have one; we were best friends, etc.
Yep, I had a guy best friend before. We met during our second year of college through a common friend, became instantly friends, became close and the rest was history. We always hang out, even if we do not have the same schedules, the same course and the same college (he was from CoE, i was still under CAS that time)! Now that’s friendship. :P
However, the closeness we had all changed; everything changed when he had a girlfriend. I am not going to delve into the details on what exactly happened. All I know is that our friendship fell apart; from being super close to being strangers. For months, we had no communication whatsoever and even if we did see each other around school, we don’t talk at all! Talk about PRIDE, LOL!! :P
After a few months, our friends decided to make a move for the two of us, since we don’t have plans of being friends again, or I don’t have plans of befriending him. Fast forward, we’re back to being just friends. And a lot has changed. You may be friends again, but the memory of what had happened is still there. But we’re trying to rebuild the friendship we had. As a matter of fact, I watched his game, which I usually do every year for Intramurals, last Wednesday. I must say, it felt good seeing your friend again after a while and share “How are you’s?”.
So, yeah! I’m writing this down not because I’m rejoicing of the renewed friendship but because I am hoping that it won’t happen again. Hay naku, bakit ba kasi may gfs na super magjellybeans sa bffs. :P Oh well, at least we’re friends again. :)

STARness, the Furniture Goddess
I’ve known Star since first year college; from enrollment period (still with our mamas :P) up until now. Oh yes! We’ve been friends for four years already. And yes, when we’re together, we can’t help but have our vanity moments together. LOL!
Anywhoo, we call her ‘Furniture Goddess’ because she has a special affection for the furniture: “Carry your chair.” and “Don’t hurt the table.” are two of her unforgettable lines. See? You already Star!!! :)) Of course, she’s not only kind to non-living things, she’s also very kind, understanding, thoughtful and loving to living things - her family and friends.
This GIF is number two of our vanity moments during our Acquaintance Party last Saturday (August 13). See number one GIF here.
I love you Star!!! Looking forward for more vanity moments with you! :*
p.s. FYI, Star was the one who christened me ‘Anina’, since then, I’ve been using it nah. For the nth time, thanks mucho betchy!!! :)
as promised, TombSocCHANNEL is here! feel free to watch our fun, crazy moments with the tombs, video blogs and what nots. come on, join the fun!
